Taking to the Streets of Atlanta – Wednesday, August 27th

Greetings All:

Blessings on Wheels for the month of July represented a completion of greatness… It was truly AWESOME!!! We tackled two major events “Taking To The Streets of Atlanta and our Back-to-School Drive”. Both was a huge success!!! If you joined us then you know what I am talking about and if you didn’t please don’t miss out on it in August. We will take to the streets blessing some unfortunate people on August 27th. serving food to those in need and has fallen on hard times, while seeking shelter in the streets of downtown Atlanta.

As we take to the streets, we will prepare a hot meal to include but not limit to (baked chicken, rice, beans, desserts, drinks and water). This may be the only meal that someone would receive that day… so we will prepare it with love…

Many of you have replied wishing to support as well as to help with this month’s vision gathering. We will meet to go feed and collect at Quick Trip off of Wesley Chapel in Decatur on Wednesday, August 27th at 7:45pm and head downtown from there. If you wish to donate food, please have these items in by Monday the 25th to assure proper preparation or call to make arrangements. July 2014 – Taking to the Streets & Back-to-School Drive

Greetings All:

For the month of July, we will take on two major projects… We will take to the streets of Atlanta and collect school supplies to help some less fortunate children get prepared for their return to school in August.

On Wednesday, July 31st, we will spread the love and distribute food to some less fortunate that call the streets of Atlanta home. Our menu will consist but not limited to Spaghetti, Corn, Salad, Desserts, Soda and Water. This may be the only meal that someone receives that day, so we will prepare it with love and distribute it with extra care… Also, we are collecting book bags and school supplies to help out some struggling families with their needs of as many children and youth as possible this year.

Many of you have replied wishing to support as well as to help with this month’s vision gathering. We will meet to go feed and collect at Quick Trip off of Wesley Chapel in Decatur on Wednesday 30th at 7:45pm and head downtown from there. If you wish to donate food or school supplies, please have these items in by Monday the 28th to assure proper preparation or call to make arrangements. Spreading the Love – February 26, 2014 (We will take to the streets of Atlanta)

Hello To All:

We did it!!! We are well on our way in a new year and To God We Give All the Glory!! Time sure flies when you are doing great deeds. Blessings on Wheels (B.O.W) for the month of January was revitalizing and a humbling experience. B.O.W started the year off by giving and restoring hope in some less fortunate individuals life. This year has brought Atlanta its share of brutal weather, hard times and economy challenges for us all. Unfortunately some people had to take shelter in the streets and deal with those challenges the best way they could. B.O.W took to the streets of Atlanta and blessed so many men and women with hot meals, warm blankets, clean clothes and toiletries.

For the month of February, we will Spread the Love. On Wednesday, February 26th, we will spread the love and distribute food, blankets and clothing to those who call the streets of Atlanta home. Our menu will consist but not limited to spaghetti, rolls, desserts, drinks and water. This may be the only meal that someone receive that day, so we will prepare it with love and distribute it as well with extra care…

I am asking everyone to have all items to me no later then Monday the 24th and we will gather together to prepare food and take to the streets on Wednesday the 26th. We will meet at Quick Trip off of Wesley Chapel in Decatur at 7:30pm and head downtown from there. Sharing Thanksgiving with the Community of Tobie Grant

Greetings All,

November represents giving thanks and what better way to give thanks than to be a blessing to someone. On November 23rd, Blessings on Wheels will partner with Ask My Friend and New Vision Christian Center in celebrating Thanksgiving at Tobie Grant Recreation Center, 644 Parkdale Drive, Scottdale, GA 30079 from 1pm – 3pm. This event is free to the community of Tobie Grant. We will serve a hot meal that most people share each year with close family and friends. So as you prepare and shop for your Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimming, remember the less fortunate who are unable to be amongst family and friends while enjoying a hot meal fit for a King or Queen.

Our menu will consist of but not limited to Turkey (fried/Baked), Ham, Collard Greens, Dressing, Mac & Cheese, String Beans, Rolls, Cranberry Sauce and Dessert. We are still in great need of any donations of these food items!!! If you wish to be part of this great experience, please feel free to contact our Project Manager, Keischa Robinson at (404) 820-6341 or email at keischa4383@gmail.com.

Many of you have replied wishing to make donation as well as to help with this month’s vision gathering. I am asking everyone to have all items to me no later then November the 18th so that we have ample time to prepare the food for distribution on Thursday, November the 23rd.
