July 2014 – Taking to the Streets & Back-to-School Drive

Greetings All:

For the month of July, we will take on two major projects… We will take to the streets of Atlanta and collect school supplies to help some less fortunate children get prepared for their return to school in August.

On Wednesday, July 31st, we will spread the love and distribute food to some less fortunate that call the streets of Atlanta home. Our menu will consist but not limited to Spaghetti, Corn, Salad, Desserts, Soda and Water. This may be the only meal that someone receives that day, so we will prepare it with love and distribute it with extra care… Also, we are collecting book bags and school supplies to help out some struggling families with their needs of as many children and youth as possible this year.

Many of you have replied wishing to support as well as to help with this month’s vision gathering. We will meet to go feed and collect at Quick Trip off of Wesley Chapel in Decatur on Wednesday 30th at 7:45pm and head downtown from there. If you wish to donate food or school supplies, please have these items in by Monday the 28th to assure proper preparation or call to make arrangements.
